After developing databases Dirk-Jan Hoets started at Cap Gemini as Usability Specialist. After working on SDW (System Development Workbench), he began working on Internet sites.
SDW is an application that enables the user to map and optimise all processes in a company (for example business and production processes). After SDW was sold, he moved to another unit, of which he built their Intranet site.At Cap Gemini he further improved his skills on:
- Construction, performing and analysing usability tests.
- Defining GUI requirements and specifications.
- Writing style guides.
- Analysing and advising during interface development.
- Design of interfaces.
- Design and development of websites.
