Development & Maintenance of Databases

During 1997/1998, Dirk-Jan Hoets has worked for the "Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken" (Ministry of Home Affairs), projectbureau GBA. The main purpose of the GBA was to setup and maintain the database of the inhabitants of local municipalities.

Besides maintaining and exporting of data from this database, he has made several different applications for them. Amongst these were:

• Design and development of an application, that kept track of the questions, and their subsequent states, which were posed to the helpdesk.
  
• Design and development of an application that kept track of dossiers and their status during a finalisation trajectory.

These applications were developed using Filemaker Pro and Microsoft Excel combined with VBA.
